Thomas J. Westbrook, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Tom had the initial vision that has become World Wide Wood Network®. He has grown up in the Wood
Products Industry and has more than twenty years of operational management and marketing
experience, serving as the owner and Chief Executive Officer of three separate lumber manufacturing
companies. Additionally, he spent two years as the Executive Director of The Evergreen Partnership,
a nonprofit trade association, marketing wood products internationally. He also spent six years as a sole
practicing attorney, handling primarily business and real estate related cases. Tom has a B.A. in
Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University,
College of Law. Drawing on this background, Tom created the Company Business Plan and has been the
driving force in the design of the World Wide Wood Network® electronic commerce platform.
Joseph S. Williams, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board
Joe brings World Wide Wood Network® extensive business experience from a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors.
He currently is the owner and President of The Williams Group, LLC, a private investment company, where he manages an
equity portfolio, provides financing for emerging companies and manages various real estate holdings. In addition,
Joe is the President of Yelm Prairie Development Company, where he manages a diverse group of real estate holdings,
and is the Chief Operating Officer of the Prairie Hotel. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
Laird Norton Trust Company, as well as holding a similar position on the Boards of various other companies and
nonprofit organizations.
W. Robert Moore, Vice President of Business Development
Bob has worked his entire adult life in the Wood Products Industry. After 24 years with Weyerhaeuser Company,
the last five years as Vice President of Wood Products Sales and Marketing, both on the domestic and international
side, Bob turned his talents to running his own business. He owned and operated Woodcraft Industries, Inc.
from 1989 to 1994, where he was President and CEO of a $4,000,000 company providing high quality kitchen
cabinetry to the Pacific Rim. The past four years, Bob was President of Oparts Housing Soft, Inc.,
a Japanese owned, U.S. company focused on supplying U.S. building materials to Asian markets, principally in Japan.
During his years in the industry, Bob has been active in various associations, including stints as a Director
and President of The Evergreen Partnership, and a Director of National Forest Products Association and
Western Wood Products Association. Bob holds a BA from Stanford University in Political Science and
an MBA from Stanford, Graduate School of Business in Finance and Marketing.
Claudia J. Westbrook, Director of Marketing
Claudia developed her twenty plus years of administrative and marketing experience while working with two
different wood products companies in the Puget Sound area; McFarland Cascade Corporation and Black Hills Cattle &
Timber Co. She also has six years experience as a legal assistant. In addition to her role as Director of Marketing,
Claudia heads up the human resources and office management efforts for the Company.
Lourens van Dyk, Information Technology (IT) Manager
Lourens' technical expertise is particularly well suited to the mission of our company. The combination of
database administration, network implementation and management, coupled with data and network security allow
World Wide Wood Network® the ability to deliver our Subscribers the level of systems functionality and
security they require. Lourens was most recently employed as an IT Manager at Neptune Technologies in San Jose,
California, a company that specializes in eBusiness systems development and integration. In addition to his
management experience, Lourens' specific technical areas of expertise are in systems architecture; virtual
private network (VPN) architecture, security and implementation; database administration, configuration and
optimization; data modeling, normalization, and relationships; and, creating indexes, stored procedures and
triggers for MS SQL Server and Oracle database applications. Lourens holds an Electrical Engineering Degree
from Pretoria Technical College, Pretoria, South Africa.
